A reminder that the annual Dunes Clean up goes tomorrow from 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon at the latest. Around 40 volunteers are needed to help remove trash from the area, and Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development Information officer Blaine Burke says everyone is welcome to come help out. "In the past we've seen everyone come with their families, with their kids, to show them the rights and wrongs and give them a stewardly approach on how to care for the land, to business associations that have sent out their employees and made it a bit of a team exercise." Participants will be fed lunch during the event and local business partners will be on hand to haul all of the garbage collected out of the area. Over the past three years, over 100 tons of garbage have been taken out of the Dunes through this annual cleanup.
